ACS Laboratories (Australia) is a laboratory based Analytical Testing Facility providing both routine and non-routine testing capabilities utilising modern instrumental techniques.

ACS commenced business in 2001 as Analytical Consulting Services and has grown into a multidisciplined progressive laboratory incorporating leading edge Chromatographic techniques. ACS has a growing staff base, including two Directors (both chemists), a Business Development Manager, and qualified analysts.

In 2009 ACS relocated to a purpose built laboratory centrally located in Kensington, VIC.

The strength of it's non routine and specialist laboratory services in agricultural, environmental, air quality, drinking and wastewater analysis gives ACS an edge in providing tailored solutions to diverse analytical problems. To this end ACS provides the breadth of chromatographic services in HPLC, GC/MS and UPLC/MSMS.

The success of this chromatographic knowhow has translated into an enviable reputation in product compliance testing for herbicides and pesticide actives to APVMA requirements. ACS provides validation protocols, impurity profiling and general advice in the area of chemical registration for local and International clients.

All ACS work is underpinned by over 40 years combined analytical experience in the areas of method development, residue testing, project coordination, client liaison, data evaluation, problem solving and instrumental analysis. All senior staff have been previous NATA signatories.

ACS also undertakes complex residue testing in both the local environment markets and residue compliance testing to MRL Levels in export commodities. Such work is underpinned by our wide chromatographic facilities.

Through it network of partnerships, ACS offers consulting in diverse area as OH & S, dangerous goods and Hazard materials identification as well as Phase 1 and Phase 2 Site assessments to Victorian EPA standards and guidelines.

ACS is undertaking NATA accreditation to the ISO 17025 standard.

The laboratory has modern chromatographic instrumentation to solve an array of problems. With Instrumental analysis being the principal activities, GC and GCMS as well as array of HPLC and UPLC/MS/MS are available to tackle most analytical problems.

Solid investment in modern preparatory techniques & method development has allowed ACS to access difficult matrices and return accurate results for clients
